Yet another semester has almost come to an end and I am in midst of my busy exam schedule
to create ‘yet another post’ post. Though it seems just yesterday that the sixth semester began, thinking about it looks as if we had been attending classes for ages. But then yet another semester semester exam has come. Alas this time, there was only one-week preparation time (Yes we had three months, but then what are study holidays for?). One of my friends, though he gets nice marks even when there are no study holidays, commented, “Usually, it takes a week’s time for us to settle and get a mood to start preparation for the semester exam. But this time, we have only one week”.
To make situation worse, Indian Premiere League, the first of its kind started exactly the day our semester practical exams ended. It is a treat for the school children who would be yearning to watch such high thrilled action. But the students under Anna Univ face more high thrilled action than IPL – the AnnaUniv Premiere League (a mobile forward which read “APL is about to begin. 240 colleges, 6 exams and 13 days of burden”). A fan in the MAC stadium at Chennai, most probably a student of Anna Univ, had written “Please postpone Anna Univ exams. We want to watch IPL”.
And worse, the college robbed me off my college study room – buses, where the war is left to the book and me. (My college buses, instead of parking in the usual parking space, parks in the new parking space at the entrance, which is 10 minutes walk from college center. Dunno why this new rule was brought!)
Usual quotes from the students’ before the exam.
“Read this! Its important!”
“Teach me this! Fast!”
“Its easy. I will teach you”
“All the best!”
“Pray for me!”
Usual quotes from the students after the exam.
“I will pass”
”Sure gone”
“Don’t know. Lets see”
“Did somewhat good”
“Please don’t ask”
“Is that question out of syllabus?”
I have always wondered how a question from the question paper would be out of syllabus when there would be a group of people reviewing it but then after thinking about the answer paper evaluation skills of AU, I decided that it is definitely possible. Kudos to AU!
I must really congratulate AU for setting up a very nice paper for Artificial Intelligence paper. They must have designed a real agent to set the question paper. Maybe the AU guys must have failed to mention the Regulation for our batch. Even a person who would have read the entire book thoroughly wouldn’t have touched the portions that are out of syllabus. Kudos again!
Anyway, all the best to all students under Anna University !
Yet Another Bye Bye
